WINSLOW, ILL. - The Stephenson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a report of windows being shot out of three vehicles parked along the east side of Carver Street late Saturday or early Sunday.
Deputy Lyn Jordan responded at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of the driver's side window being shot out. The deputy reported she found two other vehicles with similarly damaged windows, a driver's side window and a back window, along the same street.
Jordan said that the damage appeared to be caused by rounds from a B-B gun and that neighbors are watching for youth that may have B-B guns.
No one saw or heard anything, Jordan said, and there are no suspects at this time.
The investigation continues will continue, according to Jordan.
