William S. Knight Trust donates $200,000 to Kelch Aviation Museum

BRODHEAD - The Kelch Aviation Museum Inc. of Brodhead has announced a gift from the William S. Knight Revocable Trust In the amount of $200,000.

Bill Knight was a venerable presence at Brodhead Airport where the Kelch Aviation Museum is located. Knight flew many different restored vintage aircraft for more than four decades. He was a founding member of EAA Chapter 431 as well as the Midwest Antique Airplane Club and participated in many other vintage airplane clubs and organizations. He died in March 2016.

Earlier this year, the Kelch Aviation Museum launched a $1 million capital campaign to construct a new museum facility at Brodhead Airport.
