ARGYLE - In cooperation with Lafayette County's recognition of Smart Money Month, the Argyle Public Library will present "The Status of the American Economy" by economist and The Monroe Times columnist John Waelti. Waelti will speak at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Argyle library, bringing his extensive economic knowledge to discuss the economic state from the Great Recession to now. He will cover key indicators, recovery, existing economic recovery, thoughts about future trends and more.
