MADISON - Discover Wisconsin, a long-running tourism TV show, will be featuring Wisconsin dairy farm families with unique passions, hobbies and businesses outside of the dairy industry. "Beyond Dairy" will air at 10 a.m. Jan. 20 on Fox Sports Wisconsin. Local air times can be found at discoverwisconsin.com/broadcast-guide. Several dairy farmers will be showcased.
Host Mariah Haberman will meet Jimmy Voegeli, a fifth-generation dairy farmer who always has tools in his hand and a song in his heart. His earliest musical memories consist of his parents putting on big band records, which has led to Voegeli leading his own seven-piece blues and R&B band, The Jimmys. Voegeli is as proud of his dairy roots as he is his musical talent.
"Beyond Dairy" will reach Discover Wisconsin's broadcast network of 500,000 viewers across the upper Great Lakes region, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, northern Illinois and upper Michigan.
