MADISON - Vince's Restaurant and Pizza, Monroe's own Italian restaurant, will take to the airwaves starting Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Madison's CW57 television station, for an episode of The Restaurant Show.

According to the show's producer, Tony Virga, and Vince's Pizza owner, Fabio Grado, the first episode will air Friday with reruns to follow throughout next week.

Grado proudly announced that the first episode will be featuring some of the restaurant's favorite dishes. Vince's Pizza is contracted to film new segments throughout this year and will have a regular spot on The Restaurant Show, he added.

"This is huge for us, considering only 24 restaurants in Wisconsin have been given this opportunity," Grado said. "This gives us the ability to debut our new monthly dishes and show what will be available on our menu."

Grado said he mentions Monroe's and Green County's blue-ribbon cheeses every chance he gets during the episode.

"We are so grateful to have this opportunity to show all of Wisconsin what we love to do and how Monroe plays a huge part into our recipes," Grado added.

Vince's Restaurant and Pizza will be tuned in to the show on Friday. Grado and all his staff invite their customers to join them to watch and enjoy the monthly featured dish of stuffed shells with chicken and broccoli.

Virga verified the show will air additionally on CW57 at 6:30 p.m. Sunday; 6:30 a.m. Monday; 9:30 a.m. Tuesday; 4:30 p.m. Wednesday; and 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
