MONROE - University of Wisconsin men's basketball coach Bo Ryan will be in Monroe from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Dick's Piggly Wiggly to promote his book, "Another Hill To Climb."
Ryan, who has led the Badgers to numerous conference tournaments and deep runs into the NCAA Tournament since his arrival in 2001, discusses challenges that life brings to everyone.
Wisconsin sportswriter and broadcaster Mike Lucas assisted Ryan with the book, and ESPN columnist Rick Reilly wrote the forward.
Ryan coached at both UW-Platteville and UW-Milwaukee before making his mark in Madison. While at UW-Platteville, Ryan's teams won four national titles.
The Badgers, pre-ranked No. 29 in the nation in recent preseason polls, open their season in early November.
