MONROE - The Green County Sheriff's Department announced two new deputies have recently been hired to work at the jail.
Cameron Knoble, an Elkhorn native, began his career as a jail deputy on April 27. Knoble graduated from Elkhorn High School and has an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville.
Allen Peters, a Brodhead native, began working as a jail deputy on Sept. 8. Peters graduated from Brodhead High School and has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was previously employed in loss prevention for Home Depot.
