MONROE - The City of Monroe Streets and Sanitation Department will be holding a tire drop-off day from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at the street department, 1064 5th Ave. The event is open to Monroe residents only. The cost is $2 for car and small truck tire off rim, $7 for car and small truck tire on rim, $7 for large truck-semi tire off rim, $12 for large truck-semi tire on rim and $10 for tractor tire.
