Tickets for tractor pull on sale Monday

MONROE - Advance tickets for the ninth annual Green County Fall National Tractor and Truck Pull will be going on sale Monday. The pull will be held Sept. 26 at the Green County Fairgrounds with nine classes of trucks and tractors participating from Wisconsin and surrounding states.

The pull, sponsored for the eighth year by Washington Implement of Monticello, will begin at noon. Back by popular demand, Charm School Rejects, sponsored by Colony Brands and Stone Mill Construction, will perform at 8 p.m.

Advanced tickets will be $15 which includes the pull and the band as well as being entered in the drawing with a chance to win major prizes, including a 50-inch LG TV donated by Fuzzy's Audio and Video, a Lazy Boy leather recliner from Pierce Furniture, a $500 gift certificate donated by Pomp's Tire, a Stihl chain saw, leaf blower and string trimmer from Sugar River Power Center and eight $200 cash prizes. Gate admission the day of the pull will be $15 plus an additional $5 for the band and will not be entered in the drawing.

There are only 2,000 advance tickets being sold and they are available at: Washington Implement, Fairview Repair, L&S Truck Service, Bell Signs, Rackow's Family Sausage, PDC, Pomp's Tire, Schultz's Inter-State Ag, Carrousel Grain Services, Sugar River Power Center, Green County Repair, Belleville Chiropractic, Fuzzy's Audio and Video, Green County Machine, Behr Iron and Steel, Jordan Implement, Greenwoods State Bank, Cash's Bar and Grill, and Lucky's Farm Tavern.
