BRODHEAD — After an annual fire inspection by the city last week, three storage facilities in Brodhead were cited for not having fire extinguishers on the premises.

The three businesses had not complied with city fire code for the past three years, according to the Brodhead Police Department. The citations were issued Oct. 2.

Police identified the businesses as Sugar River Mini-Storage, 2501 E. 3rd Ave., Hellwig Rentals Self-Storage, 1704 E. 8th Ave., and Mason’s Storage Shed, 401 17th St.
