BELOIT - New Glarus school Superintendent Barbara Thompson is one of three finalists for the superintendent position with the Beloit school district, the Beloit Daily News reported Tuesday.
In addition to Thompson, the finalists include Steve McNeal, the Beloit district's executive director of educational programs, and Milton Thompson, director of Title I, bilingual, summer school and P-5 programs for the Kenosha Unified School District.
Each candidate will meet with the school board within a week for a final interview, the Daily News reported.
Thompson also was a finalist for the Janesville schools superintendent position, but it has been offered to an in-house candidate.
