MONROE - Main Street Monroe has a special "sunset celebration" planned to coincide with the Concert on the Square event Aug. 12. In the style of festivities held daily as the sun goes down in Key West, Florida, the evening will include street performers sponsored by the John and Katie Baumann Inspiration Project, artisans and vendors. Vendors, artisans, community groups, clubs and non-profits are invited to host booths on the inner ring of the south side of the downtown Square.
