MONROE - The "Patterns for Life" luncheon, sponsored by Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.
The cost is $9, which includes lunch, tax, tip and program.
The luncheon will feature "A Trunkload of Treasures," presented by Mary Lou Powell, Golden, Colo. Powell will share her thrift store bargains that she has collected. Powell will also be the speaker. She will speak about "The Greatest Bargain of All." Displaced and rejected and left to her own as a child, she became a fashion model.
Special music will be provided by Jane Olson.
