But a quick-hitting snowfall is expected to impact southern Wisconsin starting late Thursday morning and continuing through Thursday evening. The NWS expects 1 to 4 inches of snow and has issued a winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow.
Friday's low is expected to be only slightly higher than Wednesday at -10 degrees, with a high of 2. Another wind chill advisory is likely to be issued from Friday morning into Saturday morning, according to the NWS.
