MONROE - Four accidents this morning kept the Green County Sheriff's Department busy and caused motorists to take different routes.

Rollover accidents were reported:

• Around 5:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of Wisconsin 11 near Steiner Road west of Monroe. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mary L. Neuenschwander, 46, Browntown, slid off the road. She was taken to the hospital. No further information was available.

• Around 6:45 a.m. on Wis. 104 north of English Settlement Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by David T. Veeder, 39, Albany, slid off the road and went into a culvert. He was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

• Around 7:15 a.m. on County W west of Argue Road. Minor injuries were reported. The Green County Sheriff's Department didn't have any further information.

• Around 7:15 a.m. on County N and Hefty Road. No further information was available.

Green County Highway Commissioner Dallas Cecil said the roads were frost covered in some areas and road crews went out around 5 a.m. to put salt down.

Cecil said people still need to remember to slow down as they drive because, although temperatures might rise during the day, the temperatures are at or below freezing in the mornings.

Drivers shouldn't have to wonder if temperatures are below the freezing mark for the next several days.
