MONROE - The community is invited to take a walk in the shoes of someone with dementia through the use of the internationally known Virtual Dementia Tour from 1 to 3 p.m. March 19 or March 26 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 1760 14th St. The virtual tour is a 10-minute sensory experience that helps give those with full cognition the ability to understand what the disease of dementia sounds, looks and feels like. The tour uses educational resources and sensory stimulation to provide family and professional caregivers a way to experience the challenges faced by those living with dementia.
