MONROE - A seminar focused on financing for farms or food businesses working with the Wisconsin Depart-ment of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the USDA Farm Service Agency is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 28.
The free seminar, hosted by the Green County Development Corporation, will be held at the Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave.
The seminar will include:
USDA procurement representative discussing opportunities and methods in international food aid, domestic food assistance and multi-food warehousing services
DATCP: Buy Local, Buy Wisconsin grant program and the Local Food Business seminar series and the Farm to School program
County FSA Office: Microloans and farm loan programs and loss coverage program
Small Business Administration representative discussing small business programs and SBA loan programs
