JUDA - A Juda man, Steven R. Swart, 54, still is missing.

Green County Sheriff Randy Roderick said this morning Swart has a history of medical problems and has been known to go on walks at different times of the day.

At this time, Roderick said they have no reason to suspect his disappearance involves foul play.

Swart was last seen Feb. 5 or 6.

Efforts to find Swart have been unsuccessful so far. Because of the large amount of snow last week, the Sheriff's department used a cadaver dog Wednesday from the Dane County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit to try to locate Swart.

The Green County Highway Department cleared Swart's driveway and areas of the road around his driveway. Deputies will continue to investigate and try to interview more people who are familiar with Swart to try to locate him.

Deputies responded to a missing person complaint Monday at Swart's residence at N1649 County K and found his vehicle in the garage and no one at the residence. Deputies talked to family members, neighbors and friends and discovered that no one had been in contact with Swart since last week.

Swart is 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds, He has brown hair and wears glasses.

Anyone with information about Swart can contact the Green County Sheriff's Department at 328-9400.
