ALBANY - Albany Homecoming 2011, which is titled "Bikini Bottom Paradise," will begin Friday, Sept. 23, with the Homecoming Court being announced. The rest of the Homecoming Week's events are as follows.

Monday, Oct. 3

- Dress-up day ("Best Day Ever"); class meetings during Plus Period ; volleyball at lunch (seniors vs. freshmen)

Tuesday, Oct. 4

- Dress-up day ("Bubble Buddy Day" - dress like your best friend); class meetings during Plus Period ; volleyball at lunch (juniors vs. sophomores)

Wednesday, Oct. 5

- Dress-up day ("Bikini Bottom Day" - dress from SpongeBob SquarePants, beach theme, etc.); class meetings during Plus Period ; volleyball at lunch (losers of Monday vs. losers of Tuesday)

Thursday, Oct. 6

- Dress-up day ("Grandma SquarePants Day," dress in an ugly sweater or have crazy hair or both); class meetings during Plus Period . Vote for king and queen; volleyball at lunch (winners of Monday vs. winners of Tuesday)

Friday, Oct. 7

- Dress-up day ("Mrs. Puff's Boating School Spirit Day"); Comet Spirit Day (grades K to 12); class meetings during Plus Period

- Completed class floats must be in the school gym parking lot by plus period; pep assembly: 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.; volleyball (winner of Thursday vs. teachers/staff); skits and introduction of fall sports, homecoming court; teacher talent show; crowning of king and queen; announcement of Spirit Award

- Parade leaves at 2:30 p.m. from gym parking lot to Legion Park

Saturday, Oct. 8

- Homecoming dance: 8 p.m. to midnight; grand march at 9:30 p.m. (Students: $9, spectators: $5)
