DARLINGTON — The 175th Celebration of Darlington takes place July 27. The upcoming event was announced on Jan. 3 during the Darlington Chamber/Main Street meeting, by Director Kristen May. A new logo will be revealed as Darlington highlights its 175 years. 

Many events are expected to take place in 2024. Planning is underway by the Celebration committee. More details will be revealed as they become available. The Darlington Chamber/Main Street would like to give businesses the opportunity to plan ahead. 

“Renewing your membership is the first step in working together to make this event the best it can be,” said Chamber/Main Street Director Kristen May. As most renewal applications are in, some have yet to be turned in to the Chamber office at 627 Main Street. In addition to memberships, the 2024 Darlington Guide deadline is soon approaching.

As the 175th Celebration takes place this year, businesses, organizations, and individuals will have several opportunities to get involved with this year’s events. Stay connected to the Chamber/Main Street Facebook page, the Monroe Times and Republican Journal for further updates.
