NEW GLARUS - On June 18 through 21, the Männerchor New Glarus, with the assistance of Jodlerklub New Glarus and many others from New Glarus and Green County, will host the North American Swiss Singing Alliance Saengerfest.
The organizing committee for the event is seeking volunteers for the triennial event.
Opportunities to volunteer include assisting at the Competition Singing event or at the Grand Concert. Other opportunities include helping in the fest tents as servers or serving meals at different times during the event. No special training is required.

Grand Concert Tickets and Individual Fest Badges Available
Individual Saengerfest Fest pins are now available. The cost of the 2015 Saengerfest Badge is $285 and includes six meals, a ticket to the Competition Singing (an event only available for Fest Badge-holders), a ticket to the Grand Concert and entry to all entertainment venues. Individual fest pins may be purchased with cash or check at Esther's European Imports, 523 First St., New Glarus, or the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce with cash, check or credit card during regular business hours.
Individual tickets to the Grand Concert titled "Heimatklange - Sounds of the Homeland," at 6 p.m. June 20 in the New Glarus High School gymnasium are also on sale. Reserved seating on the main floor is $18 and general admission in the bleacher section is $12. Reserved seating for the Grand Concert is included in the Saengerfest Fest Badge.
