MONROE — Monroe Clinic has announced that road work will begin on 22nd Avenue to finalize the east side of the new Monroe Clinic expansion project parking lot. 

The construction will start on April 29 and end on Friday, May 17. 

The work is weather dependent and the predicted forecast indicates there may be a delay in the start date. Construction will take place on 22nd Ave. Between 6th Street and 4th Street will be a one-way street heading north. The access of 5th Street at the 22nd Avenue and 5th Street intersection will be difficult around May 1 and on May 14 as curbs are poured.
