MONROE - During a meeting Wednesday, the City of Monroe Revolving Loan Fund Committee denied a request for $15,000 from Prudential Midwest Realty, Freeport. Committee members determined the request did not meet the fund guidelines.
City Attorney Rex Ewald told committee members that data on the financial status of the fund had been collected, but was not yet summarized. Ewald will produce for the committee a spreadsheet of the history of the loans approved, how much has been funded and how much has been repaid.
