MONROE - After two EF-1 tornadoes struck Green County on Wednesday night, Green County Emergency Management is still assessing damage throughout the county.

Tanna McKeon, director of Green County Emergency Management, said Wednesday's storm caused a significant amount of damage to homes and businesses throughout the county.

To aid damage assessment and evaluation process, McKeon encouraged residents to report any storm-related property damage to Emergency Management by calling (608) 328-9470.

Any citizen reporting damage is advised to leave a name, phone number, address and a description of the damage.

McKeon said residents also can volunteer to help clean up storm damage by calling Emergency Management.
