MADISON - Rep. Todd Novak, R-Dodgeville, was presented with the 2016 Community Health Center Friend Award from the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association in recognition of his work during the 2015-2016 legislative session. This award is presented to legislators who have worked to advance access to medical, dental and behavioral health care for Wisconsin's uninsured. The WPHCA recognized Novak for his work to retain low-cost dental facilities such as Access Community Health Centers for residents of the 51st District by protecting the funds these organizations receive from the state.
