MADISON — On Jan. 17, Rep. Jenna Jacobson (D-Oregon) joined Legislative Democrats and introduced a three-bill package that would increase the homestead tax credit to ease the costs of housing, decrease the price of prescription drugs, and cut the costs of groceries for families by enacting the Healthy School Meals for All legislation.
“I am proud to stand with my colleagues and introduce bills that do what my constituents asked—help them afford their groceries, housing, and prescription drugs. The time is now to pass these common-sense proposals to make sure everyone across our district and the state can afford the basics. These bills get to the center of some of the top issues I’ve been hearing about.”
