Computer Heroes, 132 W. 6th St., Monroe, will be conducting a recycling drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week of Oct. 19-23. All materials will be recycled by Resource Solutions Corp. of Madison.
There is no charge for the following items: LCD (flat screen) computer monitors, computer mice, CPUs, laptops, keyboards, computer cords, circuit boards, UPS power strips, scanners, printer cables, printers, telephones, cell phones, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, remote controls and stereo equipment. There will be a small fee of $10 for CRT computer monitors and copiers. Large televisions or appliances may require an extra fee. A recycling drive in May collected more than 4,000 pounds of equipment. Computer Heroes plans to have recycling drives twice a year.
