MONROE - Starting today, RadioShack in Monroe will donate money to the Jeff Sullivan Memorial Fund at Associated Bank for every cell phone and television purchase.

Jeffrey R. Sullivan, 37, died in a house fire March 23 in Monroe. A daughter, Julia Sullivan, 16, suffered burns over half her body and is being treated at University of Wisconsin Hospital.

Twenty-five dollars will be donated to the fund for any new U.S. Cellular cell phone or any brand of television sold. The donation drive will last through Sunday, April 13. Free will donations also will be accepted. RadioShack is located at 107 W. Eighth St.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans also is doing its part to help the family.

Any donations made at Pizza Hut will be matched by Thrivent, 75 cents on the dollar, up to a total of $1,875.

Pizza Hut, where Sullivan worked for 19 years, is hosting a benefit buffet from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at its store in Monroe. Proceeds from the benefit will be donated to the memorial fund.
