Post office releases mailing dates for diplomatic, military members

MONROE - Monroe Post Office announced its recommended mailing dates for holidays for diplomatic and military services members.

To ensure timely delivery by Dec. 25, send cards and packages to military APO/FPO/DPO by the following dates:

• The Priority Mail Express Military Express Service (PMEMS) deadline is Dec. 17 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966. APO/FPO AE Zips 093 is not available.

• First-Class Mail Letters and Cards deadline is Dec. 10 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966. APO/FPO AE Zips 093 is Dec. 3.

• Priority Mail deadline is Dec. 10 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966. APO/FPO AE Zips 093 is Dec. 3.

• Parcel Air Lift (PAL) deadline is Dec. 3 for is Dec. 10 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 093, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966.

• Space Available Mail (SAM) deadline is Nov. 26 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 093, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966.

• Standard Post deadline is Nov. 8 for military address to APO/FPO AE Zips 090 to 092, APO/FPO AE Zips 093, APO/FPO AE Zips 094 to 098, APO/FPO AA Zips 340 and APO/FPO AP 962 to 966.
