MONROE - Once again, expect beautiful September weather for Cheese Days.

Weather forecasters are calling for a pleasant weekend. Friday should be sunny with temperatures in the upper 70s. Both Saturday and Sunday promise to bring partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. There is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.

Evenings will cool off, however, so a sweatshirt or light jacket might be a good idea when the sun goes down. Lows are expected to be in the mid-50s Friday night and low 50s Saturday night.
