MONROE - The Monroe Plan Commission voted to recommend to council to grant an easement to Utelco, LLC, dba TDS Telecom, in a meeting Wednesday. The company needed access across 504 16th Ave., which the City of Monroe owns, to upgrade telelphone lines. Members Ron Spielman and William Bethke were absent.
