Monroe - Joyce Binder has been active with the Green County Fair for 18 years but her love of fairs goes back even farther.
She and her husband, Bradley, farmed for many years and Binder said going to the fair was always a tradition.
"I love the fair," she said.
Her duties include getting entry blanks ready for exhibitors and answering questions. She laughs when she talks about how many questions she has to answer from people either bringing something to the fair or wanting to see the fair. It's rare when she isn't on the phone, talking to someone about the entertainment or ticket prices.
Next week she plans to be even busier when the Green County Fair kicks off Wednesday.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Arizona.
What helps you relax?
Spending time on the computer.
