'Party With A Purpose' is Nov. 7

MONROE - The third annual "Party With A Purpose" fundraiser is scheduled for Nov. 7 at Peppercorn Banquets.

The event replaces the traditional "Festival of the Trees" fundraiser. The event is a joint effort of multiple non-profit organizations serving children and families in Green County. Participating organizations include: Green Haven Family Advocates, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Green County, Sexual Assault Recovery Program, Habitat for Humanity of Green County and Monroe Theater Guild. It is sponsored by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.

The evening includes food, raffles, games and silent and live auction items. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 for a table of eight and can be purchased through Nov. 3 by contacting participating organizations or the Chamber Office, 1505 9th St.
