MONTICELLO - Monticello municipal parking lot will be closed to the public from noon Sunday, July 5, until noon Monday, July 13, for Homecoming Week.
Any vehicles left in the municipal lot during this time frame will be towed and issued citations.
The Monticello Police Department also announced the temporary parade route.
No parking of any vehicles is in effect from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 12, along both sides of East Lake Avenue (County F) from Main Street east to Adams Road, and both sides of Main Street (County C) from East Lake Avenue north to E. Coates Avenue (County C East).
Any vehicles found on the parade route will be cited and towed at owner's expense.
