MONROE - Open class entries for the 160th Green County Fair, held July 16-20, are due by 3:30 p.m. Monday in the fair office.
Fair Books are available on the website at www.greencountyfair.net. If exhibitors need copies of particular departments and entry forms, they may call or stop in the office. Office hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and Monday. Entries may be mailed, hand delivered or dropped in the mail slot if the office is not open.
Exhibits (except for baked entries) are to be in place by 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15.
New this year are three new classes of baked goods, including 11 different lots. Breads, rolls, cookies, brownies and pies will be brought back to the fair. These baked exhibits do not have to be pre-entered and may be brought to Monroe Clinic Exhibition Hall from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday, July 17. The first- and second-place items will then be auctioned off to benefit the Green County Fair.
