MONROE - Due to the Christmas holiday, there will be no edition of the Monroe Times published Friday. Also, the newspaper's offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Times will resume its regular publication schedule Saturday. While the Times' business office will be closed Friday, subscribers

still will receive a Saturday paper and it also will be available at local dealers and in single copy sale racks.
