MONROE - Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no garbage or recycling collection in Monroe on Thursday, Nov. 24 or Friday, Nov. 25.
Residents whose collection falls on these days will be allowed two bags of garbage the following week on their normal collection day. The city asks that bags should be at the curb by 7 a.m.
