Nine classes of trucks, tractors to be in fall tractor pull

MONROE - Advance tickets are now on sale for the eighth annual Green County Fall National Tractor and Truck Pull, held Sept. 27 at the Green County Fairgrounds with nine classes of trucks and tractors participating from Wisconsin and surrounding states.

The pull, sponsored for the seventh year by Washington Implement of Monticello, will begin at noon. The band, Kings of Radio, will begin at 8 p.m. The band is sponsored by Swiss Colony and Behr Iron and Steel.

Advanced tickets will be $15 and includes the pull and the band, as well as being entered in the drawing with a chance to win prizes such as a 42-inch Hustler Zero Turn Mower, donated by Sugar River Power Center; a 50-inch LG TV donated by Fuzzy's Audio; $500 gift certificate donated by Pomp's Tire; eight $200 cash prizes; and a Budweiser tent. Gate admission the day of the pull will be $15 and an additional $5 for the band; admission the day off will not be entered in the drawing.
