Next SWRPC discussion: parks, rec, natural resources

MONROE - The Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, in coordination with Green County, the City of Monroe and UW-Extension, is hosting a community meeting next week to discuss one of the seven topics in the City of Monroe's Comprehensive Plan Update (2025).

The first Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources meeting will be held from noon to 2 p.m. July 15 at the University of Wisconsin-Extension Office, 2841 6th St. The meeting will analyze the current conditions in Monroe and give people the chance to express their vision for the city moving forward. Savannah Ernzen, an associate planner for SWWRPC, will be guiding and moderating the meeting. Any Monroe resident interested is encouraged to attend and participate.
