MONROE - The law firm of Kittelsen, Barry, Wellington, Thompson & Schluesche, Monroe, recently announced the addition of Jane Kleven as a new attorney.
Kleven earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New College of Florida in 2002 and a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Prior to attending law school, she taught health education as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Senegal, West Africa. During law school, Kleven interned at the Oneida County District Attorney's Office and at the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
She looks forward to a varied practice with a special emphasis on family law, small businesses and senior citizens, officials said in a release.
In her free time, Kleven enjoys biking, reading and traveling, and she plans to become an active member of the Monroe community.
She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
