MONROE - The streets and sanitation department is offering mulch to residents. The mulch is available at the parking lot by the band shell at Twining Park. It will be hauled to this site as time and weather permits.
The mulch is not meant to be hauled away with bucket-type equipment such as a skidloader, endloader or a tractor with bucket.
Delivery of a 5-yard load of mulch is available to Monroe residents for $40, payable in advance at the street department or at the city treasurer's office at city hall.
