MONROE - The Monroe Theatre Guild is presenting Sportsmen's Bar Comedy Night, featuring the talents of several local comedians, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23.
Special appearances will be made by George Breadon, Gary Burch, Phil Rath, Tashona Smith, Chris Soukup, Randy Stephenson and Troy Whiteman. The event will feature a mix of music, skits and stand-up comedy within the theme of an old sportsmen's bar. Humor is targeted to mature audiences and will contain adult language; adults 21 years and older are encouraged to attend.
Rick Maliszewski and Melissa Burch are debuting in their first director roles at MTG.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. with beer and snacks available for purchase. General admission tickets starting at $12 each will go on sale starting Monday, March 18 from the MTG box, 910 16th Ave. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 608-325-1111 or emailing monroetheatre @tds.net.
