Written on the buggy is "The Famous Brown Swiss Cow," and at the bottom right of the photo is "Meals at all hours, headquarters 2 miles N.W. of Monticello, Wis. Jac. Voegeli Prop." The Voegeli farm and family have prospered and are now internationally known for their prize Brown Swiss livestock.
