MONROE - A Monroe teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 9400 block of Wisconsin 81.
Green County Sheriff's Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nicole L. Wild, 16, was driving west on Wis. 81 when it crossed the center line, left the road and hit a fence, fence post and tree.
Wild was not wearing her seat belt and sustained life threatening injuries. She was flown by helicopter to the University of Wisconsin Hospital.
The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. The vehicle's airbags didn't deploy.
The crash remains under investigation.
