On Monday, Aug. 9, the Monroe school board:

• Unanimously voted to hire Patrick Cleary as an exceptional behavioral needs assistant at Abraham Lincoln school.

• Unanimously voted to hire Kyle DeNure as a sixth-grade teacher.
