MONROE - At a meeting Monday, Sept. 8, the Monroe school board: • Opted to go with American Financial Network working in partnership with Woodford State Bank as the district's copier lease provider. American Financial Network offered a monthly cost of about $3,390, plus a one-time escrow fee of almost $400, for a total cost of about $190,000 for equipment, including 24 new copier machines, 11 new printers and administrative software from Rhyme. Ron Olson, the district's business manager, recommended the board choose either American Capital, which offered a slightly cheaper monthly cost and no escrow fee, or American Financial, which would have a local connection.
