In a meeting on Monday, the Monroe School Board:

- Approved $15,988.17 in asphalt repairs at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy by Bartelt Enterprises Inc. The project was budgeted through long term maintenance.

- Approved the hiring of Charlie Baumann as a sixth-grade teacher and Wendy Jo Dyrhaug as an eighth-grade science teacher at Monroe Middle School. Approved the hiring of Ashley Harris as a counselor at the middle school.

- Approved the hiring of Sharon Reese as a kindergarten teacher at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy.

- Approved the hiring of Carolyn Schultz as an English teacher at Monroe High School.

- Approved the transfer of Brock Linde as an English teacher from the middle school to the high school.

- Approved the resignation of Brianna Behselich (Moser) as a first-grade teacher at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy.

- Approved the resignation of Rebecca Kruse as a health aide at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy.

- Approved a withdrawal from the Four Lakes Distance Learning Consortium.
