On April 19:

● At 4:42 p.m., officers were called to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 900 block of 13th Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of Franklin N. Lopez Caceres, 29, of Monroe, the following day, on charges of battery and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Lopez Caceres was also charged with physical abuse of a child. Lopez Caceres was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

● At 8:58 p.m., officers were called to a single vehicle vs mailbox accident with no reported injuries in the 2000 block of 8th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jesse A. Zuelke, 48, of Monroe, had been on 8th Avenue and collided with a mailbox. There were moderate damages to Zuelke’s vehicle. Zuelke was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, hit and run to property adjacent to a highway, failure to notify police of an accident and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Zuelke was released pending a court appearance.
