MONROE - During a meeting Wednesday, The City of Monroe Plan Commission:
• Elected Nate Klassy as vice-chairperson and Darcy Dammen as secretary.
• Recommended to the Monroe City Council to approve a modification and location change of a garage in the proposed Northeast Park Condominium planned unit development.
• Approved a request to postpone paving the WW Dairy parking area in the North Industrial Park until no later than June 10, 2010.
• Listened to an update on the Monroe Clinic Hospital project.
• Committee members asked about the action taken by Fastenall to create a buffer zone and asked Building Inspector Rex Henke to take action to inform the owner(s) of west mall to improve the pavement.
