MONROE - Katie Landmark's seventh-grade homeroom at Monroe Middle School is hosting a book drive so that every student at the middle school has a book to take home and read over the summer.

The class' goal is 650 books.

Those who are interested in dropping off a new or gently used young adult book can do so until Friday at the Monroe Middle School office.
